Since early 80s, Orbit employees have learned and experienced different industries. Over the years a number of tasks, responsibilities and positions filled. Some of us learned about knowledge based expert systems, and how AI in the future was going to change the word. It took some years. The term AI winter appeared in 1984. The AI Industry had its first set back in the 70s. From its lowest point in early 1990s, AI today is around us every second of the day, and thousands of AI applications are deeply embedded in the infrastructure of every industry.

Beginning about 2012, interest in artificial intelligence (and especially the sub-field of machine learning and deep learning) from the research and corporate communities led to a dramatic increase in funding and investment.
